Served right before you forget
Retention is tracked word by word, and each one returns just as it starts to fade.
Sound familiar
The cause
That is why the work never turns into retention.
The fix
Enter your test date. New words, words due for review, and how many of each — the app works it out.
Measured internally from user study data. Without review, most words are typically forgotten within a month.
Retention is tracked word by word, and each one returns just as it starts to fade.
How far forward you go today, and how far back — the app sets both.
No study plan to draw up, no progress to manage.
Nothing left for you to decide.
Features
Set your test date and the daily load is calculated for you, at a pace that survives a full-time schedule.
Selected from analysis of real IELTS papers, graded from band 5.0 through 7.5. Every word carries IPA and audio, so listening practice runs alongside.
Mastered, learning and untouched at a glance, with a weekly trend line. Your position relative to test day, in numbers.
How it works
A one-time setup. Everything after that is planned backwards from it.
New words and review are already queued for the day. Nothing to choose.
Intervals stretch as retention grows, so the words last until test day.
Why this exists
This app grew out of the developer's own experience studying for IELTS while preparing to move abroad.
Studying around a full-time job. Only spare moments to work with. Doing the vocabulary, and still not retaining it. It felt like a memory problem.
It was not. It was review timing. Which word to review, and when — managing that by hand is not realistic.
So the timing was handed over to a system. Band 6.5, achieved without leaving the job.
The hope is simple: that the same system gets you to your IELTS score without wearing you down.

Reviews
I used to forget words within a week and redo the same ones over and over. A month in, the words I learned early still come back to me.
It fits in a 15-minute commute. I do not have to decide what to study, so I can start the moment I sit down.
I had been looking for an IELTS-specific vocabulary app. It sticks to words that actually appear, so nothing is wasted.

FAQ
A 7-day free trial gives you every feature. Nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends, and a subset of features stays free after that.
From a first attempt at IELTS through to score improvement. The vocabulary spans band 5.0 to 7.5, so you can start wherever you are.
WordSprint counts back from your test date and decides your daily work — new words, review, and volume — automatically. It also tracks retention per word and schedules each review just before you would forget it.
Ten to fifteen minutes is enough to keep moving. The test-date plan proposes the daily volume, so you only do what is shown.
You can cancel any time from subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play. The one-time purchase needs no cancellation.
